This is a handcrafted square basket made from natural materials, likely banana leaf and sisal, based on your previous product descriptions. In the process of making these baskets, weavers will select appropriate banana leaves according to length and quality. These leaves will then be cut and cleaned manually and then dried and soaked in order to be soft and flexible to help manipulate in the weaving process. The weaving process can take anywhere between 5 days through to 10 days depending on the size and time available for each craftsman/woman.
