This year, Workers’ Day looked a little different for the South African artisans and team members behind Mo’s Crib.
Instead of taking the day off, we were in the middle of one of the biggest and most successful Factory Sales we have ever hosted. From early morning setups to assisting thousands of customers throughout the event, our teams worked tirelessly to bring the experience to life.
As the rain poured down and over 6,500 people attended the sale, it became a powerful reminder of the dedication, resilience and hard work of the South African artisans and operational teams behind Mo’s Crib.
To keep spirits high during the busy period, we brought in a chef to prepare warm and delicious lunches for our staff throughout the Factory Sale. It was our small way of saying thank you to the people who continue showing up every single day with energy, commitment and care.
Behind every basket, every furniture piece and every customer interaction is a team working together to make Mo’s Crib what it is today.
From our warehouse staff and logistics coordinators to our customer service teams, cashiers, retail assistants and South African artisans producing handmade products, every person contributes to the success of the business.
The Factory Sale itself may only last a few days, but the preparation behind it takes weeks of planning, manufacturing, packing, transporting and teamwork.
Beyond the Factory Sale, this Workers’ Month has allowed us to reflect on the people who continue helping us grow into one of the leading African homeware brands globally.
Our teams are the people serving the retailers we work with, producing quality products, preserving craftsmanship and taking care of every customer who supports our business.
At Mo’s Crib, we believe deeply in Ubuntu — that we are because of one another.
Everything we have built has been through collective effort, shared purpose and people believing in the vision of the business.
As we reflect this month, we do so with immense gratitude for the South African artisans and team members who continue dedicating their time, talent and energy to Mo’s Crib every single day.
