And while a wishlist is always a useful place to begin, Factory Sale days have taught us that the piece you leave talking about is often the one you never planned on finding.

Before writing down everything you want to find at the Pretoria Factory Sale, take another look around your home.
Is there an empty corner that has never quite felt finished? A living room that could use more texture? An entrance that needs somewhere for the everyday things? Perhaps your plants need new homes, or your bedroom could simply use one beautiful piece to bring everything together.
Thinking about the space rather than a specific product leaves you open to more possibilities. Your wishlist can begin with a feeling: more colour, more texture, better storage, a finished corner or somewhere beautiful to gather.

Shopping in person also gives you the opportunity to compare colours and patterns, look closely at the weave and discover combinations you may never have considered through a screen.

Practical does not have to mean hidden away.
A woven storage basket can hold the everyday things that inevitably collect around a home while still becoming part of the room itself. Think blankets beside the sofa, laundry in the bedroom, toys in a family space or all those little things that never seem to have a permanent home.

One of the joys of the Pretoria Factory Sale is that not every discovery can be planned. Sometimes the piece you end up loving most is the one you weren't looking for at all.

Before You Come, Take Five Minutes at Home
Take a few photographs of the rooms you're shopping for and save rough measurements of any spaces you want to fill. Think about the colours already around them and make a note of what you genuinely need, but don't make the list so strict that there is no room to change your mind.
Most importantly, think about how you want your space to feel.
That's often much more useful than a list of products alone.
Two Weeks Until We Meet at Castle Gate
This year's Pretoria Heritage Factory Sale is taking us somewhere new. From 24–27 September 2026, we're moving from our familiar Pretoria warehouse setting to Castle Gate Lifestyle Centre for a completely new Factory Sale experience spanning more than 1,200m².
The first day falls on Heritage Day, and we're inviting you to come dressed in your heritage as different colours, traditions and stories gather in one space. It feels like a fitting way to begin four days centred around home, community and the pieces we choose to surround ourselves with.
So take those measurements. Save the screenshots. Send the wishlist to your shopping partner.
But don't plan everything.
Whatever is on your list, leave a little room for the unexpected.
